Bird flu alert in Hong Kong after toddler confirmed to have virus

Hong Kong – Hong Kong hospitals were on alert Saturday after a 2-year-old boy was confirmed to have contracted bird flu.

The boy from was admitted to hospital a week ago with convulsions after arriving from the southern Chinese city of Guangdong.
