Fire-ravaged hotel may be illegally modified
BANGKOK, March 9 – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is investigating the possibility that the fire-ravaged Grand Park Avenue Hotel in Bangkok’s prime tourist area of Sukhumvit was permitted to modify its car park into a function room–where the fire broke out.
Deputy Bangkok Governor Theerachon Manomaipiboon said today as he inspected the hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 22.
