Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to address jubilant crowds later on Saturday, as the country celebrates the anniversary of the 1979 revolution.

In his speech he is to announce a great achievement of the national nuclear program, he promised the rally, according the to a state TV report. Tens of thousands of Iranians are taking part in demonstrations across the country.
