Warning: Heavy rain, flash floods in Southern Thailand

The Southern Region Meteorological Centre on Monday issued a warning for people in the eastern coast of the South to prepare for widespread scattered rain with heavy falls in some areas and the danger of floods today and tomorrow.

People living near hillsides and waterways in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat should prepare for heavy rain and flash flooding, the centre’s director Wanchai Sakudomchai said.
