Jewellery shop owner found shot dead in Bangkok, mafia suspected

A 30-year-old jewellery shop owner was found shot dead in a new sports Mercedes-Benz left in a two-rai carpark off Rama III Road in Bangkok yesterday morning.

The man was identified as Hamad Muhamed. Police from the Bang Phongphang police station found in the car a damaged mobile phone, methamphetamines (ice), and equipment for smoking the drug.

Four boxes containing 250 9mm bullets were found in the boot.
