Troop injured in Narathiwat explosion
A bomb went off Friday at a Narathiwat school, wounding a soldier guarding it and causing panic to schoolchidren.
The five-kg explosive was planted under the roof of an unused building in Pracha Bamrung school in RaNgae district, and was detonated through mobile phone signals when a six-man patrol went in to take a rest. The blast seriously wounded patrol leader Sergeant Abhisit Srianurak.
