Thai provincial court grants bail to 22 imprisoned Red Shirts

UDON THANI, Aug 16 – The Udon Thani Provincial Court on Tuesday granted bail for 22 Red Shirt suspects charged in relation to last year’s political demonstrations and violence.

The Red Shirt leading member Kwanchai Praipana travelled to the court on Tuesday afternoon to hear the ruling after nine Pheu Thai members of parliament on Monday sought a court order to grant bail for the 22 detainees.
