World Court to rule on Cambodia’s request on July 18

Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya will lead a team to the International Court of Justice in the Hague which is scheduled next week to rule on a request by Cambodia for Thailand to immediately withdraw its troops from a disputed area near Preah Vihear Temple.

The Court said in its website on Friday, “On Monday 18 July 2011, the International Court of Justice… will deliver its order on the request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by Cambodia,” the court said in a statement published on its website.
