Thai Election Commission suspends party-list candidates including Abhisit and Yingluck

Thailand’s Election Commission on Tuesday officially endorsed 109 party-list candidates but suspended 16 others including outgoing PM Abhisit Vejjajiva, PM designate Yingluck Shinawatra and red shirted leaders of Pheu Thai party.

The EC reasoned that it decided to suspend because it would have to investigate the complaints against the candidates.
