Suspected internet bank hacker held in Bangkok

Bangkok Police have arrested a 23-year-old hacker who allegedly stole more than 500,000 baht from internet bankers.

Officers from the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) arrested Akaphan Gummanoi at a house in Soi Maiyalap on Ram Intra Road late on Friday night for allegedly robbing Siam Commercial Bank accounts.

Police confiscated two computers from the house.
