Former Narathiwat defence volunteer seriously wounded

NARATHIWAT, July26 – An ice-cream shop owner who formerly served as a village defence volunteer was seriously wounded from gunshots by a suspected insurgent in this southern province of Narathiwat.

Masori Kana, 32, owner of an ice cream shop in Bacho district of Narathiwat, was shot in both legs, and was later taken to hospital.
