Dental implants will be given away to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 84th birthday
His Majesty the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej has given the name of Khao Aroi (Delicious Rice) to dental implants that will be distributed nationwide to the poor.
The implants will be given away to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 84th birthday later this year.
The Advanced Dental Technology Centre has been working with the Ministry of Public Health to produce dental implants using local raw materials, which can reduce the cost of a set to 12,000 baht, compared with 200,000 baht for an imported pair.
