The Criminal Court on Tuesday sentenced a man to life in prison for murder, robbery and attempted rape of a woman hotel receptionist in 2009.

Suwit Boonpairote, 26, a native of Ubon Ratchathani province, confessed he robbed Sasiprapa Wingwon and killed her after attempting to rape her.
