Thai Airways recruiting over 400 new flight attendants

BANGKOK, 19 April 2011 (NNT) – Thai Airways International (THAI) is now recruiting 468 new flight attendants, both male and female, prompting more than 4,000 applicants on the first day of recruitment.

According to THAI Executive Vice President for Operations Department Squadron Leader Asdavut Watanangura, the positions include 178 stewards and 290 stewardesses. This is the first cabin crew recruitment in three years as the number of staff is inadequate for the time being.

Successful applicants will also have the chance to fly with a new fleet of THAI aircraft including Airbus A330, Airbus A380 and Boeing 777.
