NARATHIWAT, Feb 9 – One suspected insurgent was detained Wednesday for questioning after being captured in a military raid in Narathiwat.

About 50 soldiers raided an area in the Baan Jor Kor mountain range in Cho Ai Rong district after learning that a hideout of a Runda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK) armed force was located there and they were plotting an attack in Cho Ai Rong district.

Government soldiers found an operational base of the RKK guarded by a group of six or seven armed men.
