South Pattaya Entertainment zone raided by Pattaya Police
A raid of Soi Pattayaland 13/2 located off Pattaya Beach resulted in 13 arrests and a seizure of class 1 drugs and computer sets from an Internet Café. Police Colonel Nantawoot, the Chief of Pattaya Police led the operation on Thursday Night, which was held in cooperation with the Pattaya branch of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau.
Every entertainment venue along the street was checked and 10 employees suspected of using illegal drugs were arrested. In an internet shop, 3 people were detained after they were caught playing online casinos where users were playing with real money, which contravenes Thailand’s strict gambling laws.
