A roadside bomb went off at 4.30pm on Wednesday in Pattani’s Nong Chik district, injuring two soldiers.

The homemade bomb reportedly targeted the six-strong solder team that was patrolling a Bang Thung Pho-Ban Rai road in Tambon Lipa Sango on foot to provide security to teachers.
