Just after midnight, on the morning of September 6, a forty-five-year old Japanese business man, Mr Ichikawa Tekami, reported a robbery at Pattaya police station

He made a statement claiming he had been walking along Beach Road, on his way for dinner, when he was approached by two ladyboys on a motorcycle.
