Suthep says February 2 will see Bangkok ‘completely shut down’

Suthep Thaugsuban, leader of the ongoing anti-government protest, Wednesday threatened to stage a “complete shutdown” of Bangkok on the election day this Sunday.

“On February 2 we will completely shut down Bangkok. Roads will be turned into pedestrian walkways and people do not have to go to vote.”
