Lamphun district declared cold spell disaster zone

LAMPHUN, Jan 9 – Thailand’s northern province of Lamphun declared another district a disaster zone affected by cold spell as temperature kept dropping on Wednesday. 2 die as cold snap hits North, Northeastern Thailand

Two men were found dead yesterday in Loei and Nakhon Ratchasima. Police believed they succumbed to heart failure due to cold weather. Chiang Mai, Uttaradit declared cold disaster zones

BANGKOK, Dec 20 – Thailand’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department on Thursday declared the northern provinces of Chiang Mai and Uttaradit as cold disaster zones.
