Emergency responders had to trek more than four kilometers on foot through dense forest to reach the injured hiker, as the location was inaccessible by vehicle. After providing on-site first aid, rescuers carried her on a stretcher along narrow, slippery trails back to safety.

The operation involved close coordination among rescue personnel due to the difficult terrain, requiring careful movement to prevent further injury. The woman’s hiking companion was unharmed.

Once evacuated, she was taken to Thalang Hospital, where she received treatment and was reported to be in satisfactory condition.
