French Man Critically Injured in Fifth-Floor Hotel Fall in Pattaya

PATTAYA – A French tourist was critically injured after falling from the fifth floor of a hotel in Naklua in the early hours of January 14, 2026. The 31-year-old man, who was conscious but severely hurt, was rushed to hospital with significant head and leg injuries.

The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation received an alert around 12:30 a.m. and found the man lying on the ground with heavy bleeding and a strong smell of alcohol. Rescuers provided immediate first aid before transporting him for emergency treatment.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud impact before discovering the injured tourist. Hotel staff informed police that he had been staying alone for about six days and had been drinking in his room before the fall. No other individuals were present at the time.
