The crash occurred around 3:06 a.m. opposite the Makro Pattaya store in Nong Prue subdistrict. Rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation arrived to find two riders injured beside a overturned white Yamaha Spark, while two others lay bleeding nearby with severe head injuries next to their badly damaged black Honda CBR 650R motorcycles.

A witness, 37-year-old Chakphong Wong-in, reported seeing a group of Arab tourists racing at high speeds moments before the collision. “One big bike crashed into the rear of another motorcycle, sending riders flying,” he stated, adding that he had been preparing to record the race when the accident occurred.

Pattaya police confirmed that CCTV footage captured the illegal street race and subsequent crash. The evidence is being reviewed for further investigation, though no immediate arrests have been made. The injured tourists received emergency medical treatment, with the most critically hurt riders suffering head trauma and significant blood loss.
