Who has accompanied Daniel during this first session of the trial has been his father, Rodolfo Sancho. Reporter Álvaro López pointed out that the accused himself was able to ask questions to the witnesses, something that is not even contemplated in his country, Spain.

In addition, the journalist pointed out that Daniel Sancho “has asked so many questions, with inappropriate questions, that the judge has had to call his attention”: “A woman who works at the landfill where Edwin’s remains were found and the woman who rented the motorcycle to Sancho have testified”.
“The statement of the person who rented him the motorcycle is important because when you go to rent one, you have to leave either a bond or the passport. In the case of Daniel Sancho, he left the passport and the defense says that this piece of information is important because someone who leaves this document in a store would not be hiding anything,” added a journalist.
