Ammonia Leak at Pattaya Area Ice Factory Under Control, Over 160 People Affected

The situation at the Banglamung Ice Factory near Pattaya is now under control following a reported explosion and ammonia leak that occurred late last night. The factory has already resumed normal operations, and the leak has been sealed.

Pattaya Area Ice Factory Chemical Explosion Leads to Ammonia Hazard, at Least 60 Injured

The Pattaya New reporters went to the factory at 9:30 AM today, April 18th, and observed that a team of officials from Nongprue Municipality, the Chonburi Provincial Public Health Department, Banglamung Hospital, and the Department of Labor Protection had already set up a command center and first aid station to assist affected residents and factory workers.
