NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A 77-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle was hit by an oncoming SUV on Highway 41 in Tham Phannara district on Sunday morning, police said.

Pol Lt Samphan Wattanasong, a Tham Phannara duty police officer, said the accident happened at about 8.30am on a south-bound lane of Highway 41 near Village Group 6 in tambon Tham Phannara when the motorcycle suddenly cut in front of the Toyota Fortuner from the road median.
