Bangkok’s longest traffic tunnel, U-mong Mahaisawan, was officially opened to traffic yesterday after almost five years of construction of this four-lane and 1.5 kilometres long tunnel.

Chairing the official ceremony to open the tunnel was Bangkok governor Pol Gen Asawin Kwanmuang.
