Sulking policeman attempts suicide over mistress
At 9pm, on the evening of Dec 18, Pattaya police received reports of a shooting at the SK Apartments on Soi Sukhumvit 49, Pattaya.
In room 205 investigators found a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun and a pool of blood on the ground.
The victim was Pol Sgt Somphol Pattanalamphu, Squad Leader of the Crime Suppression Unit at Banglamung Station, who had shot himself in the neck.
