Thai economy in October grows
BANGKOK, 29 November 2016 (NNT) – The overall Thai economy in October still expanded well due to an increase in private consumption and public expenditure as well as continuously increasing agricultural production.
Deputy Director of the Fiscal Policy Office Pornchai Theerawet said the private consumption in October increased following a rise in newly registered motorcycles for seven consecutive months. The public expenditure continued to grow after budget totalling more than 4.3 trillion baht was disbursed—a 16% increase compared to the same period last year.
