PM will give no news conference today: Govt spokesman

BANGKOK, 12 October 2016 (NNT) – Government Spokesman Lt. Gen. Sansern Kaeokamnerd has said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has cancelled his trip in Chonburi to have an audience His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. He confirmed there will be no news conference as rumored.

The spokesman said the PM was preparing to have an audience with His Royal Highness in case he had to give a report on the government’s work. Gen. Prayut had assigned Deputy PM Somkid Chatusripitak to act for him in Chonburi, said the spokesman.
