Police to seize assets of suspected bombers

Police are considering slapping suspected bombers alleged to be involved in the bomb and arson attacks in seven southern provinces in mid-August with charges of being an underground gang to pave the way for the seizure of their assets.

Pol Gen Srivara Rangseepramnakul, the national deputy police chief, who is in charge of overseeing the bomb attacks case, said that the Anti-Money Laundering Office had been asked to check the money trail of the suspected bombers and to seize their assets.
