SURAT THANI, 13 August 2016 (NNT) – The authorities have stepped up security measures on Koh Samui, Koh Pa-ngan and Koh Tao islands off Surat Thani province.

Vehicles to and from the tourist islands will run through road checkpoints following bombing incidents in the southern region while tourist industry remained intact.
