The Election Commission is due to meet on Wednesday to endorse the nation-wide results of August 7 referendum on the draft constitution.

Election commissioner in charge of election affairs Somchai Srisutthiyakorn said if the referendum results from 77 provinces were properly checked and correct, they would be approved by the commission in the afternoon and sent to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha for acknowledgement on the same day.
