Motorcycles, bicycles, tuk-tuks now banned from bridges in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 25 July 2016 (NNT) – Motorcycles, bicycles, and auto-rickshaws or tuk-tuks are now banned from various bridges and tunnels across Bangkok, in a bid to prevent accidents and keep the traffic flowing.

It has been recently announced on the Royal Thai Government Gazette website that motorcycles, bicycles, auto-rickshaws and other types of motorized carts are not allowed to enter five tunnels or travel over 39 bridges in the capital city.
