One Thai worker died and another was injured when a huge night fire broke out at a large construction campsite housing more than 1,000 Thai and migrant workers of Italian-Thai Development Plc at Don Mueang north of Bangkok last night.

More than 450 rooms of the densely populated two-story makeshift row-houses were burnt to the ground after almost two hours of raging.
