Thailand and Laos to continue bilateral ties in all areas

BANGKOK, 7 July 2016, (NNT) – Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and his Lao counterpart Thongloun Sisoulith have reiterated strong ties between the two nations, as they signed a memorandum of understanding on labor cooperation.

Deputy Government Spokesperson Major General Weerachon Sukonthapatipak said the two countries also have several cooperation projects ahead the 21st Thai-Lao Joint Commission meeting and the 3rd Thai-Lao Joint Cabinet Retreat. These projects cover political and security collaborations, as well as development campaigns along the Thai-Lao border areas.
