CHIANG MAI – A 34-year-old woman died in a hail of bullets and her male friend was wounded when two gunmen opened fire on them in broad daylight at a garage where they worked in San Sai district on Tuesday.

The attack took place at Kij Charoenyont garage around noon in tambon Nong Harn, Maejo police said.
