BANGKOK, 25 June 2016 (NNT) – State Counselor of Myanmar, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi who is on a 3-day visit to Thailand has emphasized the strength of relations between Myanmar and Thailand while expressing her appreciation of the overwhelming welcome from the Thai people.

Speaking at a seminar entitled “Myanmar ASEAN and the World: the Way Forward”, Ms Suu Kyi said she was very happy to have visited the Kingdom of Thailand, adding that diplomatic ties between the two nations are stronger than ever.
