Yingluck Shinawatra stands trial today for dereliction of duty at Supreme Court

The Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions today began the second hearing of the controversial rice-pledging scheme with former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra standing trial for deleriction of duty.

The trial today saw Ms Yingluck and her team of lawyers appearing before the panel of nine judges to defend her.
