Towering Inferno: 500 Flee as Fire Engulfs 35-Story Building in Hong Kong

Some 500 people were evacuated and six received injuries as a massive blaze broke out on the surface of a 35-story residential building in Hong Kong, local media reported Wednesday.

BEIJING (Sputnik) – According to the South China Morning Post newspaper, the fire first occurred when the bamboo scaffolding around the building was set ablaze around the 23rd floor.
