His Majesty the King has fever, doctors finding cause of bacterial infection
BANGKOK, 17 February 2016 (NNT) – Doctors tending His Majesty the King are closely monitoring his condition as the monarch has recently experienced fevers intermittently while his blood test showed signs of bacterial inflammation.
In its 20th statement concerning His Majesty the King’s condition while staying at Siriraj Hospital, the Bureau of the Royal Household said the King had a temperature of 38.1 degrees Celsius on Feb 15. An examination on Sunday night (Feb 14) showed His Majesty was breathing faster. However, a chest x-ray showed no signs of inflammation in his lungs.
