Another cold air mass to approach North, Northeast

CHIANG MAI, 14 February 2016 (NNT) – Frost appeared on the Doi Inthanon mountain top on Sunday after the temperature dropped to 3 C. The colder weather at the moment in Chiang Mai has attracted more tourists to the province.

The frost at Doi Inthanon covered a wide area stretching almost four kilometres long. The Northern Region Meteorological Center announced that the northern region’s winter will continue due to many cold air masses. From 15 – 18 February 2016, another moderately strong cold air mass is expected to move into the northeastern region, bringing the temperatures further down.
