Security stepped up at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports

Security measures at the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports have been stepped up since Saturday in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night which left at least 127 dead and over 200 others injured.

Mr Nitinai Sirisamatthakarn, managing director of Airports of Thailand Plc, said that foot patrol by security guards at the two airports was increased whereas monitoring of activities and movements of people by CCTV was tightened up around the clock.
