Phuket police officer killed by drunk minivan driver

PHUKET: A police officer was killed when he was hit by a minivan while waiting to make a u-turn on his motorbike at a set of traffic lights close to Phuket International Airport earlier today (Nov 9).

It is alleged that the driver of the minivan was drunk at the time of the accident.
