400 tourists trapped on Koh Larn by rough sea are rescued

Four double-deck ferry boats were this afternoon dispatched to Koh Larn off Pattaya to pick up about 400 tourists trapped on the popular island.

Packed with strong wind, depression Vamco whipped up waves about two metres high making it impossible for speed boats and small ferry boats to bring the tourists who were trapped on the island.
