Seven tonnes of illicit drugs up in flames today

Thailand put in flames more than seven tonnes of illegal drugs worth over 20 billion baht at Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate in Ayutthaya to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking today.

The incineration of the huge cache of drugs, mostly “Ya Ba” or methamphetamines, was presided over by deputy prime minister Yongyuth Yutthawong.
