EU delegates to visit Thailand to advise on IUU fishing control

BANGKOK, 3 May 2015 (NNT) – The European Union (EU) is to send a working group to Thailand during 10-22 May 2015 in order to follow up on the progress of the suppression of IUU fishing and give consultations to the country, Government Spokesperson Yongyuth Mayalarp revealed.

The spokesman cited a report from the Department of Fisheries as saying an EU working group will visit Thailand from 10 to 22 May, to be followed by a visit of the second group of EU high-ranking officials from 20-22 May.
