TAT to hold 12 grand Chinese New Year celebrations nationwide

BANGKOK, 5 February 2015 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is set to organize grand Chinese New Year celebrations in 12 major tourist areas across the country in the hope to attract Chinese tourists during the long holiday. A grand opening ceremony of the Chinese New Year celebrations will take place at China Town, Yaowarat.

More than 670,000 Thai and foreign tourists are expected to join in the celebrations in the 12 areas from 18-24 February 2015.
