The National Reform Council (NRC) voted to reject the ongoing process to open bidding for the offshore and onshore petroleum concessions with a vote of 130:79.

The proposal for the 21st auction for the petroleum concessions, was submitted to the NRC for approval after its energy reform committee has earlier supported it.
