Varied activities across Thailand honour the King on his birthday

BANGKOK, Dec 4 — Thais across the country joined hands to organise different activities in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the auspicious occasion of his 87th birthday on December 5.

The Royal Thai Army, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the Jesada Technik Museum co-sponsored a parade of over 130 Micro and ancient vehicles in honour of His Majesty, a motorcar enthusiast, celebrating His birthday. The parade begins at Sanam Luang ground and ends at the museum, a distance of 14 kilometres.
